The Downstairs Lounge is 16.5m x 6.5m (55ft x 22ft), carpeted throughout, is used regularly by smaller organisations for their meetings and can also provide a pleasant lounge area for drinks, etc. as part of an event being held in the Main Hall. A ramp from the Entrance Hall area provides access for wheelchairs, etc.

Luncheon clubs hold their meetings in this room and it is also suitable for smaller events such as family celebrations, consultation days, commercial sales, etc.

Example of a display arranged as part of the annual Parish Flower show. There are large windows along all of one side which overlook the Bowling Green, making this a light and airy venue.

The licensed bar is located at the entrance to the Lounge and a wide variety of drinks is on offer. The bar also serves events held in the Main Hall when a bar licence is required.
